Swimming is a sport, everything else is just a game.

Since January of 1983, RAC has aspired to provide a friendly, fun and challenging team atmosphere where any swimmer, regardless of ability, can benefit from the social rewards of participation as well as experiencing the competitive rewards of setting and achieving personal and team goals. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide a progressive program allowing swimmers to advance according to their ability level and their desire to compete. Being that we are progressive in our approach to swimmer development, we maintain an appropriate technical focus to conditioning ratio for all groups. With this approach, we are able to satisfy the needs of all swimmers. By maintaining our focus on the fundamentals of technique, as well as working to improve each swimmer as a person, our swimmers have achieved tremendous success in the classroom, at the pool, and in life.

YOU can be a part of the RAC Marlins Swimming Team at the Stanly County Family YMCA. Swimmers at the Stanly County Family YMCA have the opportunity to practice, compete, and enjoy the benefits of swimming for a larger swim team in a smaller setting.

RAC is lead by Coach Hannah Hawkins, M.S, B.S. If you have general RAC questions or would like to know more about swim team in at Stanly County Family YMCA, please email Coach Hannah  or call 704-636-0111 x207.
